The Jet Black DualShock® 4 Wireless Controller is the standard controller designed for the PlayStation® 4, featuring a sleek all-black finish and a textured rear surface for improved grip and comfort. Its ergonomic design incorporates multiple precision input options, including pressure-sensitive trigger buttons, dual analog sticks with concave thumb rests, and a responsive directional pad for accurate control across all game genres.

A dedicated Share button allows players to instantly capture screenshots and gameplay videos or broadcast live content. The controller’s centrally positioned, clickable capacitive touchpad supports multi-touch gestures, expanding in-game interaction. A top-mounted light bar provides dynamic visual feedback, changing colors based on player assignment and in-game events.

For enhanced immersion, the controller is equipped with dual vibration motors and a built-in mono speaker, delivering audio cues directly from supported games. A 3.5mm headset jack enables private audio output and voice communication.

Wireless connectivity is provided through Bluetooth® 2.1+EDR, ensuring reliable pairing with PlayStation® 4 consoles as well as compatible Windows and Mac systems. The controller also supports wired data transfer and charging via a Micro-USB port. Power is supplied by an internal 1000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, offering approximately 4 to 8 hours of gameplay depending on usage. Integrated six-axis motion sensing, combining a gyroscope and accelerometer, detects movement, tilt, and rotation for motion-based controls in supported titles.
